ABOUT COLOR MY NEST

My name is Peggie Morrow. 

A few years ago, two of my dearest friends (for over 50 years!!) and I got together for a weekend. We drank Cokes from a bottle like we did as kids, cooked together, and painted birdhouses!  I started painting at our home in Blue Ridge and it just felt natural to paint a few birdhouses.  I made some into churches, and also decoupaged and decorated some.  I began giving them to friends as well as selling them.  When family and friends would come visit us at the cabin, they wanted to paint birdhouses too! 

The idea came to me that I wanted to help others enjoy the inspiration the mountains offer me and share my enjoyment of painting birdhouses.

And voilà, Color My Nest was born.  I hope that you will enjoy and appreciate this time as much as I know that I will.
